First Semester
My first semester was at Baldor located in Flowery Branch. I learned a lot from there as I was on a rotation, so I could see how a motor was designed, built, and tested before it was sent to the customer. I did this every day, so I learned a little bit in each category by working with the different specialties each week. This helped me a lot with my mentorship in my second semester because it allowed me to hone my AutoCAD skills to be proficient enough to use in my second semester mentorship.

Second Semester
My second semester is located at Siemens in Norcross and I am under Bill Barrett. He has allowed me to work with a laptop each day to complete various task that is needed as a graphic specialist. I've learned that it is okay to ask questions on the job, because it is better to get it right the first time rather than having to keep redoing it because it waste time. This will help me in the future because it not only shows that I am working independently in a highly regarded engineering company, but I have work experience before being in college.
